You need to copy and paste the link that has been sent to you to the address bar of your web browser, and then, hit the Enter key on your computer keyboard. 
• Now, you need to type in your Windows Live ID into the space provided in the account reset page. After that, you need to create a new password and then re-enter it in the respective fields. Click on the Continue button.
• You will now be able to sign in to the Windows Live account with your new password.
